Medical examination & character verification for AD IB

Dear Seniors,
i have received a recommendation letter from fpsc for the post of assistant director. they have mentioned that final selection will be subject to medical examination & character verification. Please guide me that now i have to approach the fpsc HQ myself for this or they will inform me that when & where medical examination etc will be held??
Further, medical & character clearance ensures the selection or there will be further shortlisting??

Once recommended by FPSC, a candidate can not be rejected by the ministry unless a serious medical problem reveals in medical reports i.e. hepatitus, aids etc. or in case of FGO,ones connection with any extremist outfit is found during security clearance..
In short, just chill ..

Accomodation if posted out of home town?
Service structure? Promotions,
& comparative anaysis with AD ISI?
