The batch 02 paper was neither too difficult nor too easy. English and science were of a moderate level of difficulty. Current Affairs, Pakistan Affairs and mathematics were the most challenging parts. Islamiat was the easiest portion. If you have attempted 65 correct out 80 (excluding mathematics), you have done a good job. So far mathematics is concerned, only those would have scored higher marks who belong to this field. The rest would have more or less the same marks. Maths is, therefore, not going to be the game changer. What you have scored out of 80 (excluding mathematics) does matter. Bear one thing in mind that the test was not as easy as it seemed. This is an observation to which many people may disagree.

Those who have scored 70 or above marks are in the safe zone. Exceptional cases will be there where 50 candidates would have scored 90 to 95, 50 would have been able to score 85 to 90 and yet another 50 would have scored 80 to 85 marks. This means that 150 candidates would have scored above 80. The total candidates to be called to the next phase are 240. 90 of those 240 to be called will have scores in the range 70 to 80. This is an observation to which many people may disagree.

Keen observer 555 I wish to agree with you but I unfortunately I cannot.
The test was taken in 2 batches. Secondly as you bring the threshold down the number of candidates doubles or even triples.
NAB had a cut off around 78 , This is IB cut off would be minimum 85.
