76. If 40% is the pass percentage, a student obtaining 40 marks has failed, how many are the total marks (I don’t remember the question exactly, if anyone does please let me know)

Question was:
76. If 40% is the pass percentage, a student obtaining 40 marks has failed by 40 marks then how many are the total marks?

Means 80 marks = 40%
Total marks = 80/40x100=200

The scholars differed concerning the ruling on Eid prayers. There are three scholarly points of view:

2 – that it is a communal obligation. This is the view of Imam Ahmad (may Allaah have mercy on him).
3 – that it is a duty for each Muslim and is obligatory for men; those who do not do it with no excuse are sinning thereby. This is the view of Imam Abu Haneefah (may Allaah have mercy on him), and was also narrated from Imam Ahmad. Among those who favoured this view were Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah and al-Shawkaani (may Allaah have mercy on them).

Thumbs up Passing Marks

Yes definitely, because Punjab candidates are expected to be pass at 85 or +. And for Sind R 70+ is sufficient because the number of vacancies are little bit more than the previous one.
Wish you best of luck!!!

Angry

Candidates from Sindh U & R, should secure atleast 80 to 84 to qualify the pre-interview written test. Less than 80 to 84 have hardly any chance to qualify.
