Yes they do....you need atleast 50% marks to pass the test...to be eligible for any quota.

In any case your basic argument about selection on quota system is also wrong as one of the candidates belongs to taxila.Rawalpindi and the other belongs to Rawalpindi city and no I am not talking about their centers I am talking about their domiciles....

Thousands applied for the screening test one may ask the NTS why they were not given the opportunity like last time's recruitment of competing in the descriptive test so that they would have more chance of passing.....because the fees collected of rupees 800 remained the same...... because the main aim was just to filter out the candidates because fees had been collected which remains the prime objective of this non profit organisation. Than deliberately no syllabus was disclosed and no indication was given as to what courses were to be included...then deliberately the threshold was kept sky high at 68 out of 100 or 136 out of 200 because the main aim remained the same that is to filter out maximum number of candidates... one may argue that if such process was to be adopted then at least fees must not have been collected from thousands who are appearing for screening test and the people who managed to pass the screening test and make it into the descriptive test should have been asked for fees if the objective was to remain as a non profit organisation.

Having passed in both the posts of NAB and in SBP og2 I always respected opinion of other people who couldn't make it in them and agreed that their grievances indeed needed to be addressed.

But looking at the responses of a few people here it is my humble request to the moderators to close this thread....

I'm not sure about all these scam claims. The Quota system (however silly) may explain the low marks getting shortlisted.

But, yesterday I saw a fellers MCQ result paper and he had gotten 135.45.

I failed the screening test. And even though I do not care about the subject in discussion, I do condemn the shortlisting mechanism and the high cutoff scores. Particularly, applying a global cutoff score for all provinces. I prepared for this stupid test for a long time and I think that its rather unfair to cut off scores for KP above 140, where I acquired 134. The descriptive questions were fairly easy yet I'm not qualified to attempt it. Its very painful and quite simply unfair to be honest. I'm not sure how long it'll take to cope with this failure. All my preparation gone to waste. And even if I make it next time, that'll probably be 2 years later. 2 years is a long time.

Guys, there might be certain issues with NTS in this result and i am not defending NTS but as far as both the mentioned candidates, namely Zesshan Danish and Shafeel Riaz are concerned, both of them are Christians, both live in Rawalpindi but Zeeshan is basically from Sheikhupura, so his CNIC No. starts from different series.... i too got 134 marks and a bit hurt for not being selected for next step.... now the next question will arise that how do i know this information, so the reply is that i work in an organization where Verisys facility is available...

Cutoff for kpk was 135,person with 136 were allowed to sit in descriptive test

NTS is claiming that the person who got shortlisted by scoring 87 marks, belongs to minority quota.
but there was not any minority quota mentioned in advertisement for AD.

those guys who got 87 marks and 105 marks are from punjab (minority) qouta.

Well point number 4 of "Important to Note" in advertisement does mention about women and minority quota.......and minority quota is generally 5%...so 1 seat out of these 16 for Punjab is reserved for minorities... :glare::glare:

There are Christians in taxila as well, there are other minority groups as well. Maybe the person qualified on minority quota...
Plus I know a girl from punjab who was shortlisted and she had 112 marks in screening test...

I am totally desperate from this test. Now putting any statement on NTS Website or where ever does not any mean to me. I got 113 marks from Punjab but could not short listed. But to pass and clear any NTS test for next phase, it requires 50% marks atleast. How is it possible, so less score persons got short listed.. :/

From now onwards, I do not believe on any institution of Pakistan. They all are corrupt. I have decided not to participate in any kind of test any more...

Farrukh sb, do not lose hope. There may be some irregularities but NTS is only a testing service, all shortlisting etc is done on the directives of the client.

Do not lose heart, there may be a better option for you somewhere, Anyway if NTS or any other organization did mess things up than it is there loss :)

Both videos you have shared are focusing on NTS claim of being "Non-Profit" institution. Despite the fact that clowns appeared on this anonymous talk show are trying their best to "prosecute, jugde and convict" NTS representative on air, they haven't presented any facts that support your "Grievances" which are (I tried my best to underline your arguments from your posts):

Yeap! the time was hell-short for everyone but not for those-who,with the help of NTS mafia, knew the answers already.

Totally lame excuses. If you knew all about NTS. Then why did you apply for the post. In the first link it was mere an opinion without any evidence. In second link about the program of kalasra , I ve also watched the program on "92".It was the utility cooperation to blame. NTS isjust a testing service. The case is reffered to the department after cconducting a test. Now a days there are thousands of applicants who apply for different vaccancies for different departments. It is not convenient for these departments to shortlist these applicants who are thousands in numbers. So, screening tests are conducted through testing services like NTS,PTS,OTS etc. But the interview is finally confucted by the department concerned.
Other thing about this test is that had NTS informed or intimated any candidate before the test. If it had one should agitate. I think all were appeared with the same situation. And other thing that Mr. Adil don't know is that there were a strong vigilance on test day by MOD. And your apprehension about the inductance of some inward or converted ones in the most prestigious organization is not your headache and you should not bother about this as those who are handed over by this task know better.

is it possible to encircle 150 or 160 right answers in short time including English paragraph , maths and IQ questions that need concentration ???
