Well i have posted my experience regarding Psychological in following thread.

at the moment merits and demerits which come in mind are ..
well its good respectable job with BPS 17 and also as its prestige. one serve in it with out political pressure but there is good amount of army involvement in it.85% chances that your boss will an army office. and you learn a lot. and again depends what kind of duty and responsibility one is assigned in the organization. and its not a easy job. its tough .
The main demerit is promotion . very very few Ad's cross post of director.
other demerit in most cases less social life..

Well rest of them i will post some other time.....

dear 6561 r u working in isi? If nt then wt is the source of ths info. As most of ur info is nt much encouraging for an aspirant. 1. Wt is wrong in serving under men in uniform especialy when one aspires to joing an org which has earned such a larger than life repute only bcz ov them? 2. As far as the curent trend goes an ad gets promoted aftr 5 yrz to dd and ths cadre has oficerz presently serving at high positions in ths org. 3. U r absolutely ryt tht ths job is very rich in terms of respect, and a sense of satisfaction. 4. Tough nature of work wl alwaz be there if the job involves either money or a huge social value.(ths job caries the later).regards.

@ dicey..
well i never discouraged any body and dier is nothing like discouraging in my post. ..i said you have to serve in most cases 85% under army officers.... and i said one learn a lot in it.
and second thing. as far as promotion is concern .your info is rite but lets see it implemented in true essence or not. I have mentioned what happened so far. what gonna happens in future no one can say any thing.

thanx Mr. Raz for a useful piece of info. Can you tell us your source and haow many candidates have qualified the written test? Will they hire only 25 candidates as was advertised or more than the said 25?

Candidates from previous batch will also join your batch for the training.

Brother y is the prievious batch cource still pending.so that they will start training with the new 2010 batch.how many candidates from previous batch will join the training.can u tell how many candidates are selected in 2010 written exam.
any result expectation date.
