Mere khayal me ISI written test k qualifiers ki first stage pe he har lehaz se verification krti hai taa keh koi era ghaira 2nd step tk bhi na punhch sake warna iske elawa result k itne late hone ki koi aor waja hargiz ni ho skti.

Some fellows have provided considerable information for A.D. ISI. You people can get better information from RAZ because he was once in that department..

A.D. ISI is a good job and off course the AD ISI and AD IB are the jobs, which are better thn some occupational groups of CSS, but there remains some issues that while being in ISI you are required to serve with/under the army officers and often there comes the problem of civilian and military mindset as such civilian officers are not given such worth/weightage and considers as second citizen etc.. however, it is heard that the ISI is now providing facilities etc to civilian A.Ds because there was high turn over.. .. .....

And to clear some misconceptions as stated by Jisral, the AD ISI is not usually required to serve in other departments and secondly they do not go to foreign countries as secretaries only... they can go under any category as per their BPS and experience/professionalism and other criteria..

and i fear for good promotions in ISI... because ISI top brass is always mlitary and mostly drawn from Army...

thanks to tabassum he is right but its not a bad job at all, if u have a intelligence aptitude.

@ Kausar, sir yes it is not at all a bad job. I have already mentoined in my previous post that AD'ship in both inteligence agencies of the country viz. IB and ISI is even better thn many css groups. You may disagree to it by giving many reasons, but i also have a few points.


- However, what for the result of A.D. ISI!

We are waiting for the result.the exam took place in jully/jun 20 ,2010,if i m not wrong.
the add come under the name of Ministry of Defence Jobs.

I SEARCHED ON NET FOR ISI WRITTEN TEST RESULT AND I FOUND THAT AT MOST OF THE TIME RESULT WAS MADE TO PUBLIC IN APRIL. YOU CAN SEE THE WRITTEN TEST RESULT OF 2008 WHICH WAS MADE TO PUBLIC IN APRIL 2009 AND OF 2006 WHICH WAS ANNOUNCED IN APRIL 2007. PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST WERE TAKEN FROM MAY-JUNE AND FINAL INTERVIEWS WERE TAKEN JULY -AUGUST. I INQUIRED FROM MOD BUT THERE IS A COMPLETE SILENCE AND OFTEN QUOTE WITH THEIR ROTTEN RESPONSE OF "SUMMARY TAYAR HAI JAB BIG BOSS SIGN KARE GA TO RESULT ANNOUNCE KAR DIA JAYE GA"

Dear Asma,

ISI is a kind of organization which is not even accountable to Supreme Court. Therefore, expecting any discipline on its part is a total waste of time. You should rather be doing something else instead of frustratingly awaiting for the result. I know that being a candidate it is your right to await for the result, but you are only going to disturb your own peace of mind because they always take long to publish the result.

If you heed my advice, it will benefit you not just in this case but also in other competitive examinations. Get busy again in your studies or in any other routine else you will be affecting your performance in coming psychological test in ISI.
