Default Job Description of AD (ISI)
It is requested to senior members to please shed some light as to what are the basic responsibilities and job description of an Assistant Director of the ISI. Does he have to do stuff like James Bond 007? what about going abroad on secret missions and what is the difference in tasks assigned to the military and civilian officers?

Well, to add emphasis to my question, let me make it known to the honourable senior members of this forum that I have been selected for appointment as an Assistant Director in the elite intelligence agency of this country. And I have to decide about my joining. Can I expect some response now???

Many Congratulations, Is it ISI or IB? because I heard that ISI don't hire civilians. Also, would you like to tell how to prepare for this test?

asslamo Alikum! Congrats dear . May Allah succeed u in every walk of life. We appologize on late comments. You have got the job in Superior service of Pakistan and Pakistanis feel proud to become an Officer in Army or ISI. I also attempted this test in 2010 but couldnt qualify.

It is the ISI. And for test preparation, frankly, I didn't do much efforts. You can consult various books, journals and newspapers for current affairs, general knowledge and international affairs. It is just like preparing for the civil services.
