inspector is promoted to day ad after 15 years and from dy ad to ad after 14 years as well....means inspector remain in same grade for nearly 30 years....on the other hand his salary would increase fastly and would be equal to that of 18 grade officer in provincial government...

i think your information is totally incorrect. i want someone working in the department clarify this.

Gree yar did u get letter? I am trying to contact ASF section officer mentioned in interview letter but he is not picking my phone from past four days. Why commission told us to contact him? and what about medical and other formalities? any idea. and also that letter was clueless about any joining date

Majid is right dear.
It takes approximatly 25 years for an inspector to get BPS 17, AD in AsF.

like seriously guys! pehlay rootay ha, duaan krty, bheek mangty Allah sy, jab select hotay tho nakhry khatam ni hotay. join kya he ni abe tak aur Promotion k peechy perh gaye ha sb.
Guys this is public service, this is no money making job, k app salary sy buildings keray kr sakoo.
so anyone who did not find this job attractive should not join to give a chance to other candidates who are eager to join this job, who are in love with uniform.

odd working hours, low salaries,low promotions,facilities like accommodation make this job very less attractive.
