Dear brothers, could you please share a little of what made you leave ASF. I've also heard that many people, selected as Inspector ASF, left their posts readily.
regards,

Oh yes I remember you, you're Adil Khan, the philosopher of our course and I also remember the fun we used to have with you in Agha Sahib's weapons classes I'm still serving in ASF, posted at the Lhr Airport, but striving desperately to get selected elsewhere. Hope you're doing good, nice seeing you here!

That's good and I'm going good. I have been through your posts but when I did a little research on it, I realized that we're batchmates. I do remember those days and the memories are still fresh in my mind but I guess your dog days started after your passing out. And yes try your level best to find another job, go after CSS and PMS because I think you've got something special, I mean a creative mind but you didn't tell us about your creativity when we're together. And what about the other guys, how many of them are still serving?

Thanx dude. All the guys are still serving in ASF except Altaf who cleared CSS and is serving in DMG. All the others are scattered at international airports all over the country. Alamgir, Zeeshan, Faisal and Ghazanfer have become Dy. ADs.

I have served as inspector ASF for almost one year and resigned few months ago. Most of people resign from ASF because ASF is powerless job. Their duty is only to identify and search passengers like watchman. Secondly inspectors have to perform static duties on gates and search counter. In some airports only a single inspector is posted at a gate which have to made physical search of people. And you cannot raise any voice against any thing because it is force. Yahan punishment k liye tu forces k saray rules apply hotay hain lekin facilities kay liye koi rules ni. Even at some airports inspectors are living with corporals in barracks made for corporals.
Then old fashioned officers(khurpay) are completely non cooperative to young officers, they always try to let down youth.
It is also sometime become very difficult to leave ASF if somebody knows that you have got another job. My two colleagues resign from ASF very difficultly.
But one thing is very good in ASF, it is corruption free department to some extent and rizq e halal.
This is brief story of ASF
