Difference between ' I will...... and Iam going to......

I will & I’m going to

Both are used for future actions.

Compare:

‘Mr.A phoned while you were out.’ OK. I will phone him back ( It means you were not aware of the phone message before)

We use Will when we decide to do something at the time of speaking:

We use must to say that we feel sure something is true:

1) You have been travelling all day. you must be tired. (Travelling is tiring & you have been travelling all day, so you must be tired.)

Do not use 'the' for general ideas:

1) I like cricket, especially twenty overs game. (not the cricket or the twenty overs game).

2) We don't play tennis very often (not the tennis).
