Dear aspirants, the irony is, those of us who cannot anticipate PMS schedule well-before the official announcement, fail to start preparation until two months before the examination. The Commission hasn't implemented the new syllabus, so it's a challenge as well as an opportunity for candidates !

Well, it's not an irony on part of ppsc because it was known some 7-8 months ago that pms will surely held this year so serious aspirants kept their preparations for pms continue many months back. If someone start preparation now its gonna very tough now

Right, PPSC has no blame, since their announcement for PMS is solely dependent on the official directions by the Services & General Administration. However, it's certainly an irony for those unfortunate candidates who lack proper anticipation with regards to PMS schedule. And yes, serious aspirants always keep their skills honed to the point of perfection at all times !

So, are you appearing for PMS exams Mr.Ambber ?

Where is the notification of tentative date of PMS commencement? I have browsed the website but to no avail. Would you specify the section where they have notified about such happening?

WS, Mr. Mohsin, the advertisement has not yet been published. Our source of information is the revelation by the Punjab Public Service Commission website, where it has been announced that PMS examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in first week of December 2016.

A request to the aspirants from Lahore!
Dear ones you are requested to please tell me if there is any hostel/hotel which can accommodate me just for 10 to 15 days. I intend to travel to Lahore 3 days prior to the commencement of pms exam.

Yup @Comely ..... PMS-2016 is going to commence according to the same schedule.
