Can you tell brother which departmenta can we join after qualifying PMS. can we join DMG ?????

Once you are recommended for appointment by the Commission, you become an employee of the Services & General Administration Department, Government of Punjab. A fresh appointee starts as a section officer, and is later promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner. Then the promotion ladder may take you to District Coordination Officer, or even Secretary of a Department. Therefore, the role and nature of job is synonymous to that of DMG or Pakistan Administrative Services. As a result, those who have an impulse for Administration prefer DMG or PMS.

Which reveals vacancies: PMS=25, Audit/LF Group=3, ETO=2

Written test for PMS has been advertised today. As revealed by some members few days ago, there will be 25 seats for PMS (Open merit=16 seats)

Well, sheer injustice on part of ppsc. Pehle hi sirf 30 seats thi and now even reduced to 19 only, 11 reserved for disabled and minorities

Passing marks have been increased to 40 marks and only 19 seats on open merit. I think it is sheer stupidity to appear in pms this year :/

I wonder how many aspirants will drop their PMS attempt this year considering such low number of vacancies.
