Thanks for this lucid and comprehensive comment. And, as a matter of fact, I am feeling lucky as this exam will serve as a simulation just before appearing CSS exams in Feb-2019.

What I concluded is that 1st January 2018 will be a cut-off date, which implies that my DOB, which is 04 January, go lucky with a narrow margin on 4 days.

Just for the sake of curiosity, is 1st Jan always the cut-off date for PMS exams?

Yes, first of January is always the cut-off date.

Age relaxation for PMS to Govt servants.
 

Hi. I am working in Punjab Govt department and my service will be 4 years in june, 2018. Keep in view my 4 years experience, am i eligible to appear in PMS, 2018?? My age is 29 years now. And the cutoff date for age limit is january 2018 for PMS 2018, to be announced in october 2018. While the eligibilty in terms of completion of degree or other pre conditions is closing date which is usually November or october. I will be highly obliged to you people for your reply on this.
