Age Enquiry for PMS 2018
 

Hi, my DOB ins 1st Jan 1990....I wanted to ask whether I am eligible for pms 2018? I live in Sydney, Australia and planning to appear in pms 2018. I cleared written exam of PMS 2014 but couldn't make through interview. So, looking forward to try my luck again in 2018. Please answer my query because I would have to plan beforehand.

Yes you can apply....becz cut off date will be 1st jan 2017

I thought the age limit was 28? Is the advertisement out yet?

Try for css age limit is increased there. I think 14 nov is last date.

I just suggested not argued.

The ad has been published. I still dont know when the test is though.

I have a similar query. Wandering in search of the answer I saw this thread, however, after reading all comments, I am still not clear.
My date of birth is 04 January 1990 and I wanted to appear in PMS-2018. Since I also live out of Pakistan, I shall have to plan and manage quite a few things accordingly provided that I am eligible.

Please let me know as know well should you be aware of this conundrum.

Yes, you can take PMS-2018. As your age on 1st of January, 2018 will be 27 years 11 months 28 days, so you can appear in PMS-2018. Anyone who is not a government servant and is below 28 years of age can apply for 2018. As PMS has been regularised, the advertisement will be out in Oct/Nov. 2018 and written examination will be conducted in december 2018. Owing to limited number of seats every year, there is a cut throat competition in PMS as well. So gird up your loins. Best wishes to you all.
