as i passed 2009 english lecturer interview
for this i can suggest,read a brief history of english literature up to modren era,imp writers,of particular periods like keats as romantic poet,shakespear as elizabethan dramatist,n wid special reference to ages vs literature like 19 th century as a period of novel n ,,so on,interview move on disscussion within the discussion,panel is very up to date,genral qustion on islamiyat n pak affairs r too its part,,some question like how v can imp standard of eng,reading skills,students level of proficiency in speakingg all these matters a lot too,be confident,try to answer in clear n lucid english,,n keep in ur mind one of ur favourite writer,n why u like ittt,n best wishessss

Dear the only solution to your problem is a lot of practice. Give mock interviews frequently to ur friends, to ur family members etc. Do a lot of speaking practice standing in the front of mirror. And be calm, nothing happens, after all only that happens which Almighty Allah makes to happen. No one can snatch from you what is written in ur fate. Be confident, work hard and then pray. I think this would help.

Knowledge never let you down. You 've the knowledge, your voice 'll not tremble at all. Get equippe with it, you 'll automatically gain confidance.
But one should not show confidance, if you convey your message in a polite manner that the interviewer gets your point clearly, it is enough confidance to be selected. And, you can convey your message if you know the answer.
If you don't know then you should be able to confess your ignorance so have courage to say sorry, it is peak of confidance. Let's say, here you answer the question wrong and due to confidance you put arguments+counter arguments, the interviewr 'll think you confidant but 'll never pick for the job. He wants an able person not confidant coz such type of jobs have the phenomenon of knowledge hidden behind and:
"actually, Education is the knowledge of self ignorance".

So acquire knowledge that 'll not let you down and have courage to confess. Simple, it is. Waise b, most of the interviewer try their maximum to calm down the candidate. They know that the candidate would be nervous to some or more extent, so they 'll try to provide an ease. You are required, just, to cooperate with them. They interview to find the potential, let them find. Don't think that you 'll make any foul and it 'll benefit you. Just reply to what you are asked. Here reply means the knowledge you have for the question, not answer which means comprehensive knowledge which is impossible to provide at instant even by a genius and even the inventer too fail to provide so at instant orally. So present the knowledge you have and let the interviewer to assess.

Here quotation by Amir Khan in 3 idiots is worthy to quote: "Don't follow success but excellence, success 'll itself follow you".

Conclusion: The knowledge is the confidance and the knowledge of self ignorance is named as self confidance. Most important trust in Allah, as Allah never leave us alone if we call HIM.

I 've picked the reason, Tauba, that why you are asking about confidance. You know what'z the reason? Jo main andaza laga saka hn wo yehi hai k ap khud se insaf ni kr rahi ho, apke pas jo khobian hein unko nazar andaz kr k nai paida krna chah rahi ho jo ghalat hai. Apni khud ki salahiaton ko aazmao.
Polish your kept skills instead of creating new.
That's not fair. You 've passed the written exam and now you are finding books for interview. Who knows what topic they assign to you and you prepare for many but not for that as it is not known.

I dont think there is any acadamy in Lahore that can help you in this regard. It depends all on urself how you speak and behave during interview. Personality cant be changed in few days just for interview, and interviewers are very clever persons. They can judge wheather a person is behaving naturally or otherwise.
