Default Can a FA qualified apply for ASI through PPSC?

Only Graduates are eligible to give the test of ASI through PPSC? or a person with a intermediate qualification can also give that paper?

See,Posts of ASI is nothing to do with PMS Posts...As your brother has attained FA Degree..so wait for the PPSC to advertise the posts of ASIs in Punjab Police...and Yes,After having the BA Degree Yr brother is eligible for PMS Exam.

If yr bro is selcted as ASI then say around after three years, he may be promoted as Sub-Inspector and so on...

PMS(Provincial Management Service) Posts are filled through CCE (Combined Competetive Exam),which is organized by PPSC.

CCE Exam is conducted for recruitment in posts of grade 16 and grade 17.

Hope,it will help you.

If You are selected as ASI,then it means you will serve in Punjab Police.and You will be promoted as per the rules and regulations.i-e from ASI to SI,etc

2)If you appear in PMS Exam, qualify successfully and opts to go for PMS Posts, then you will be no more in Police Department.Qualifying PMS Exam doesnt mean Promotion, rather it entitles you to be officer of grade 16 or 17,depending your merit number in CCE.

Certainly,There are no fast Promotions in Punjab Police.

Under Police order 2002,The Recruitment in Police would be in the following Ranks.

1)Constable (Recruitment by District Police Officer)
2) ASI (Recruitment through PPSC)
3)ASP (Recruitment through FPSC under CE (Comtetive Exam)

While,Punjab govt. plans to ammend Police order 2002 with Police order 2010.
under Police order 2010,The Recruitment would be made in the following Ranks.

1)Constable
2)Sub-Inspector(Through PPSC)
3)ASP

Stay in touch with cssforum, you will come to know once PPSC advertises these posts.

Yes

FIA posts are not filled by PPSC or FPSC?
FIA is Federal Organization, and obviously the Recruitment of grade 16(Inspector FIA),and of grade 17 (Assistant Director FIA) is done through FPSC.
