Land Record Service Centers are to be constructed in Lahore and Hafizabad in first phase and Punjab govt wants to make them operational from next month.These centers 'll work on the lines of NADRA ID cards and passport centres where a citizen 'll get computerized naqal(fard) after submitting a definite fee in the bank.Intiqaal (mutations) and registeration of property work will be done in these service centers.This will certainly reduce the corruption in Mehkam e Maal (Revenue Department),dependency on Tehsildars 'll be reduced.But it 'll take almost 10 years more to get computerized land record of All Punjab. Assitant Director Land Record would be the Incharge of that center.

But what will be role of Tehsildar in attestation of Mutation process? and what is the guarantee that Service Center Officials will be angels?

Fatima attestation of mutation is the sole authority of Tehsildar. Land Record is not a new service, there is Land record office in every Board of Revenue, DLR Director Land records is the Head of this office with other officials including ADLR etc. Land record office has nothing to do wwith attestation of mutations. Land Record office is mainly a clerical job, while Tehsildar is a field post.

The posts of Tehsildars were cancelled by Punjab Assembly last year. So forget the result.

What is promotion channel for tehsildar and how much time it takes?

Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar posts are announced by PPSC.

There will be two papers(MCQs), one for English composition and other will be of GK.
