The best way to prepare for PMS-G.K. paper
Dear all
The best way to prepare for PMS-G.K. paper is to go through sum gud local n international newspaper n sum gud English news channel dat wil probably cover ur 40% paper for da rest 60% u need to consult doz G.K. books..i dun recommend any bcoz all of dem r gud n hv more or less da same knowledge ..now dat 60% part is v crucial most of u wud start cramming da whole books n most of da time u r able to solve 5 to 10 questions even wid dat much hard work..i give u an example if u start memorizing all da capitals of 195 states u wud hardly find one mcq in da paper wid soo much effort n cramming 195 capitals is hell of a job…but alternatively if u try memorizing da capitals of doz countries which become da headline of most newspapers n channels u wud find it v easy to memorize n a fair chance to see dem in ur paper as well…same goes for al other topics… If u see the past papers u wil find a similarity in da sense dat few categories r repeated every time for instance da name of sum president or p.m. nobel prize winners sports icons capitals currencies ports so on n so forth..u need to make dez categories in ur notes n ad up things accordingly ..dis is all wot ive experienced in my last 2 attempts of pms.. try visiting da following links frequently www.dawn.com www.cfr.org www.economist.com www.nytimes.com www.telegraph.co.uk www.about.com Gud Luck to all, Kind Regards, Salman BaLooch |
