Default PMS Exams 2014
Hi, during my appalling attempt at the recently concluded C.E 2014, a couple of people in Lahore told me that the PMS exams are just on the horizon this year with around 300 vacancies expected.
However, since then I've rummaged the Internet for some concrete information, sadly to no avail. Browsing through the forums here, I've thus far found out that PMS exams are conducted when there are vacancies in the relevant department and are generally announced a month before the examinations commence.
Any information regarding PMS exams would be appreciated.

P.S: Can you become an "AC" by passing PMS exams or is that spot reserved for the "CSP"?

I guess that DSPs seats will also be added in PMS cadres for this year as CM has approved recruitment of DSPs through PPSC despite the resistance from PSP officers.

What is your source? I noticed your location 'Gujrat', you didn't study at the University of Gujrat by any chance did you?

well guys most of us have the same query....
i think we should not pay heed to any rumor out there.whenever PMS will be announced there will be a span of about one month atleast.
One can prepare for this exam in one month provided he is capable and has background of competitive exams.
So my suggestion would be to relax and wait for the official announcement.

the date has not been announced yet in punjab......
