So sorry to hear ds....aur b koi case tha wahan equivalence vala? Mery pas hy equivalence certificate....aur wahan kci student se apko uska intrview experience ni pta chala?

I think if you have equivalence certificate then there should not be any problem, there were couple of other candidates with 4 years degrees but without equivalence certi. so got rejected.

I am going to dispatch them HEC notification regarding degree equivalence with my application. fingers crossed.

for Interview: prepare your academic well and application of your studies to the department/real life scenarios. , PESSI, functions of PESSI, ILO, ILO conventions, Current affairs, one bloke was asked how social security is related to Islam...so basically nothing unusual, general interviews.

i want to know that for getting equivalence certificate from HEC attestation of metric and inter from concerned boards is required or we have to just attest 4 years degree from concerned university?

Mene to yun kia tha k i went to HEC Lahore region...wd original dcuments....n photocopies of all dcuments too...dmicile, id card, all educational certificates etc....unhu ne sign kr dye...aur frm dia sath..us form ko fill kr k fee jma krai 1500 n sath educational certificates n dmicile etc ki photocopies sath lga k ismbd HEC ko TCS kr dia...after 15 days, HEC ne equivalence certificate ghar bhj dia, by post bt apko agr urgent chaye to ap lahr se sign kra k khud ismbd chaly jain to shyd uci din dy den apko....ap btaye ga k urgent hy....bt lahr n ismbd HEC jany se pehle unhe call kr k poch zrur len...cz lahr valo ne kaha tha k 9 bjy k bad hm kci ko enter ni hny dety...shyd ismbd ka b koi esa issue ho to its btr k ap 9 bjy se pehle e pohnchen n cnfrm b kr lejye ga k ismbd khud ja k mil b skta hy ya ni.....prior cnfrmation kr k jaye ga HEC se...

I met with the same problem of equivalnce. Apka intrview ho gya? If so to kesa hva?

After greeting they said to introduce urself.
my degree is risk management so they asked:-
What is risk management?
What are major risks to our industry?
How to mitigate risks?
What is internal rate of return?
Then next person gave me a case study whic was..
if you are manager and there is loan at 18% interest rate so will u sanction loan or not?
Then next person asked...
what is specialization of labour?
What is efficiency of labor?
How efficiency can be enhanced?
Difference between educated & literate?
what is our literacy rate?
Difference between market & marketing?
Define interest rate?
Then department representative asked following questions..
define social security?
Which industries are liable to be registered?
If some industry do not want to get registeted?

PPSC has not responded to my application yet; still waiting for their reply.
that`s insane if they are not accepting the equivalence....
