Default Excise Inspector or Auditor
Respected Seniors and Forum Members
i have query about selection of job as i have been recommended by ppsc for the posts of Auditor in Punjab Local Fund Audit (BS-13) and Excise and Taxation Inspector (BS-14)
i`m a bit confused which post is better and why???

Excise Inspector is like an executive post. You can not compare it with auditor post.

What about promotion???? i heard in E&T there`s no promotion but in Audit employee can be promoted in 5 to 7 years to assistant director level. what do you say about this???

Congratulate dear Brother.
i am also waiting final result for T&E for Lahore Region. i am also heard about scale conversion news someone told me its decided department just waiting to sing their relevant minister.

I Think this post salary is around 26 thousand and nature of job is both field and officer work. men wear uniform like police but sign on the shoulder and on the chest mention Excise instead of Police.
department gives target to collect tax if somebody achieve they gives reward depend on the ratio of collected tax
its good to take start in government jobs but cannot spend long time until you start corruption

Hello Salman,
It's Usman here. Congratulations on being selected E & T inspector. You topped in Sahiwal region. Well done. Unfortunately, I couldn't qualify (6th Position). I would advise you to go for E &T Inspector job. It's better compared to the auditor one. What were your marks in written and interview? Mine are 80 (w) and 70 (I).
