Dear,ppsc will consider their Masters'degree,whereas,other candidates irrespective of their masters in other disciplines will be considered as"simple graduate"...so,MBA,M.Com degree holders will certainly get advantage..and preference will be given to them.

But one thing more, if they have decided not to give preference to such candidates than why they would consider master degree as the qualification according to advertisement was Bachelor.So if they do, It would be Preference.

But as per my information they were counting marks of academic record of all candidates up to the bachelor level.

According to a PPSC official, for a gazetted post, where preference is mentioned, the candidates with prefered qualification gets additional academic marks for higher qualification. So, for DDAO, candidates with MBA (Finance) or M.Com degree would be awarded some additional academic marks. Now, if academic marks of some candidates are about 35 then with higher qualification in respective field his/her marks would reach to 38-39. so this is the criteria for preference.

I have mentioned the criteria, told by a PPSC official.
baki baat dana pani ki hay. agar dana pani hua to preference k bgair bhi job mil jaey gi aur agar dana pani nahi hay to preference k sath bhi nahi milay gi...
Anyhow, I am not in the race, I just shared information for all concerned candidates. Wishing best of luck to all candidates
