Dear Members Now there is age relaxation for a specific cases for ASJ, LASJ & DSJ
CONSOLIDATED ADVERTISEMENT NO. 35/2016
CASE NO.122-RF/2016,123-RF/2016& 125-RF/2016

PUNJAB HOME (PRISONS) DEPARTMENT It is further intimated that age relaxation admissible under Punjab Civil
Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper age Limit) Rules, 1976 will be granted to the
candidates of Lady Assistant Superintendent of Jail (BS-16), Assistant Superintendent
of Jail (BS-16) and Deputy Superintendent of Jail (BS-17)

5 year general age relaxation is included in 1976 rules or not?

nopz
in Rules 1976 these relaxations are existed sum type of applicants like civil servents with experience of 3 years, candidate from deprived areas etc means this age relexation is not open for all

can we apply for ASJ or DSJ if age is 28 years and 2-3 month above?

You can apply if you are a govt servant and completed two years of regular service.

Go through PPSC model papers by advanced publishers, you would find lot of past papers and information regading question about jail structure and functions
