QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from a recognized University (A candidate who has obtained a degree after B.A Examination in English only is not eligible to compete unless he/she has passed the standard Matriculation/O level examination from any recognized Board of Secondary School Education).


Eligibility:
Both Male & Female candidates who are citizens of Pakistan, domiciled and permanent residents of Sindh can apply. A married Female candidate is required to produce her own Domicile & Permanent Residence Certificates (Form-D) independently and the Domicile of her husband shall not be accepted.

AGE LIMIT:
i. The candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 28 years of age on 01-09-2013.

ii. In case of the candidate from schedule castes, the upper age limit shall be 29 years on 01-09-2013

iii. The candidates whose services with the Government of Sindh have been terminated for want of vacancy, the period of service already rendered by them shall for the purpose of the upper age limit under this rule be excluded from their age.

iv. In case of the candidates who are serving in connection with affairs of the Centre and are domiciled in Sindh and the candidates serving in connection with affairs of the Province of Sindh with a total Service of atleast four years on 01.09.2013 the upper age limit shall be 35 years.

NOTE:
i. EMPLOYEES OF AUTONOMOUS BODIES LIKE WAPDA, KESC, BANKS AND LOCAL BODIES ETC; ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CONCESSION, MENTIONED ABOVE.
ii. The number of posts is subject to change as per the requirement of the Government of Sindh.
iii. The recommendation/appointment in respect of the above posts/service will be made on merit or Urban/Rural Quota according to the rules prevalent on the relevant dates.
iv. The Combined Competitive Examination will be held during the month of November, 2013 at Hyderabad, Karachi, Sukkur & Larkano Centers simultaneously provided it is justified by the number of the candidates at each center.
APPLICATION FORMS:

I. Application Form and Optional Form along with copy of Challan Form will be issued by the SPSC, Head Office, Hyderabad & Regional Offices of SPSC, Karachi, Sukkur and Larkano, free of cost. However, the candidates are required to submit a fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) paid in the Head of Account “C02101-Organ of State-Exam Fee (SPSC Receipts)” as examination fee. Application Forms & Optional Forms are also available on Commission’s official website [url]www.spsc.gov.pk[/url]. The copy of paid Original Challan should be submitted along with all relevant documents within closing date.

II. Request for application forms by post will be entertained by the Head Office only, if accompanied by self addressed large size envelope bearing Rs. 50/- stamps for Registered post and Rs. 30/- stamps for ordinary post and photo copy of paid challan of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only).

III. The Commission under no circumstances shall be responsible for non receipt or late receipt of any posted letter(s).

IV. Candidates residing abroad can apply from there on plain paper mentioning there in age, qualification, Domicile, PRC (on form “D”) alongwith attested Photographs and all supporting documents. They shall be required to produce at the time of interview original challan of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) duly paid in any Branch of State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan as well as prescribed application form duly completed in all respects.

APPLICATION FORM SHOULD REACH THE HEAD OFFICE OF SINDH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, THANDI SARAK, and HYDERABAD ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE UP TO 05:00 P.M. (OFFICE HOURS).

NO EXTRA TIME WILL BE ALLOWED FOR POSTAL TRANSIT ETC.

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER CLOSING DATE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.

Mukhtiyarkar is BPS-16 post. If they are to announce it in CCE 2013 then same syllabus and same papers will cover the entire induction process. Candidates falling in line with merit of mukhtiyarkars will be adjusted against these posts.
In the presence of BPS-17 posts, Mukhtiyarkar post option will be at the lowest in the preference list of candidates.

Yes it does mean Excise and Taxation Officer.Previously jobs for this post were announced through department on Ad hoc basis and seats were awarded to people with political influence.Now lets hope that there is transparency in SPSC so that deserving candidates can get their due rights.

2. Every candidate shall take all the compulsory subjects and three of the optional subjects, subject to the following restrictions:-

No more than two subjects means you can opt 2 from these five subjects mentioned. Right :) So opt it as I opted in CCE 2008.

This time they have included these posts in PCS, this is good thing as now PCS has some charm.

Yes you can opt these three subjects, but applied chemistry is somewhat different from the regulat chemistry you read in masters degree, same is the case with me. Any ways its your own choice to opt any subject.

Well these days women work in all the fields so you should not worry at all regarding posts in CCE. All posts are ok for female as well.

I am thinking of challenging this advertisement in court. Spsc should have announced general relaxation. Five years general relaxation should have been there.

AoA dear mohammad hussain, do we have to apply separately for each post ? or the application fee of rupees 1000 is the only fee we have to pay as in CSS ? Because i think application form will be one as there is order of preference for choice of posts/services...

I don't think so. If you see the application form for PCS. you have to write post preferences. So I believe you have to pay fees once only and write your post preferences in the application form.

1.CSS is federal commission exam but PCS is provincial exam, and this exam is for Sindh province.
2. Yes, Assistant Commissioner is DMG department post.
3. Section officer, i think is a post of recruitment commissions such as SPSC and FPSC..:D:D

Dear imran, may be it means that age relaxation of 35 for those candidates whose service is terminated for want of vacancy will not be considered, means their years of service will not be counted....:D
