@ Ali Mallah & Muhammad Hussain

I am overage by 1 year and my current age is 29 years. Should I study for PCS or I should not waste my time studing for PCS if there would be no age relaxation?

I am really confused that why should I study when I would not be able to sit in the exam :(

And there have been 2 weeks since the announcement of PCS and there is no sign of age relaxation.

Is there any special age relaxation for 1 year overage candidates?

Waiting for your replies :hurt

To be honest, I believe age relaxation is not an issue but is being made an 'issue' by all of us who are always prepared to target any and every government rules. Government departments need young fresh blood instead of over aged candidates who are 'desperately' looking for a job to make the most of it in the shortest possible time.

It's obvious those looking for 10 or 15 years of age relaxation have attempted or had the chance to go for previous PCS exams where they surely 'failed' or were so naive to not even know that it took place.

I have the right to support any policy so please no arguments. I am agreeing with the government here.

When you target some particular group you should always be ready to face the arguments given in response to your comments.

Let suppose I require age relaxation, I was neither naive nor failed in written/interview. What should I do now?

If Govt needs fresh blood then why they allow age relaxation for in-service candidates upto 35 years? Are they fresh blood? Isn't it discrimination of the rights of the public as per constitution? Though the relaxation should be given to those who are jobless instead of giving opportunity to already employed to stop creating administrative problems due to their shifting of departments once they pass.

Its just to make you realise, hope you take it as normal.

When I said no arguments then I meant 'no aggressive arguments' especially from the ones who are banned now.

Secondly, suppose if you require age relaxation then you got to be one of them (Failure/Naive) because either you never cleared the previous exam or you just didn't apply for the previous advertisement. In case you were not prepared then it is also your fault. Though we are not talking about you here but generally.
If someone completed his or her studies (Bachelor degree which is required here) at the age of 29! then I have no words.

And you are right about in-service candidates. Unemployed ones truely deserve it. I know one guy who is unemployed since 4 years and is ready to take this exam. Fortunately he is well under the age limit.

Let's hope for the best. Let's see if goverment increases age limit. I personally pray it doesn't but you never know :)
