My friend at S&GAD, who is SO and the other SO at CM Secretariat, both have confirmed it that three yerars age relaxation has been given. On Monday notification will be issued.
But 3 yeara are insufficient due to long prevailing unemployment. Everybody bears witness that how intense favouritism and nepotism in our society. One such example is the Chairman SPSC whose sons and nephews qualified in their first ever attempts of exam of their life while others despite being highly qualified and talented hardly get after their second, third and more attempts due to competition.
Therefore, we request our freiends at forum that please support our cause of 35 years of age or 7 to 10 years because many of our talented friends and youth are still jobless and will be out of this golden opportunity which comes after five years. Moreover, it is unjustified that at once 15 years of age relaxation has been cut to 3 years which is a bolt from the blue.
...
FRIENDS, IT IS OUR HUMBLE REQUEST THAT SUPPORT OUR CAUSE OR UPTO 35 YEARS OR 10 YEARS OF AGE RELAXATION IN CCE 2013....

yes, you r absolutely right. 03 years of general age relaxation is totally unjustified with reference to previous general age relaxation of 15 years.

I humbly request to all the stack holders of PPP lead government to kindly reconsider this issue and the age relaxation must be given upto the age of 35 years for CCE-2013. Many jobless and talented candidates are suffering due to age problem.

Absolutely right. I don't understand why this time they created drama of upper age limit 28 years without relaxation

Dear all,

If upper age limit for government servant's is 35 years, then why not this age limit be granted to unemployed and talented youth or otherwise to corporate employees of this province; the upper age limit for so called government servants is totally unjustified and violation of basic human rights acts & Islamic shariah.

The upper age limit for all youth of Sindh must be fixed upto 35 years of age, without any discrimination (Same for all).

References in favor of equality and justice in Islam, Constitution of Pakistan and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by united nation:

The Holy Quran from the English translation of the "Kanzul Iman" very clearly states:

"O believers, stand up firmly by the Commandments of Allah, bearing witness
with justice and let not the enmity of any people incite you that you should
not do justice. Do justice that is nearer to piety and fear Allah,
undoubtedly, Allah is aware of your doings." (5:8)

The Right To Protest Against Tyranny: Among the rights that Islam has conferred on human beings is the right to protest against government's tyranny. Referring to it the Holy Quran from the English translation of the "Kanzul Iman" says:

"Allah likes not the utterance of evil words except one who is being
oppressed. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing." (4:148)

Rulers Not Above The Law: A woman belonging to a high and noble family was arrested in connection with theft. The case was brought to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon HIM), And it was recommended that she might be spared the punishment of theft. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon HIM) replied:

"The nations that lived before you were destroyed by Allah because they
punished the common man for their offenses and let their dignitaries go
unpunished for their crimes; I swear by Him Who holds my life in His hand
that even if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad, had committed this crime,
I would have amputated her hand."

The Constitution of Pakistan
Part II: Fundamental Rights and Principles of Policy
Chapter 1: Fundamental Rights

25 Equality of citizens.
(1) All citizens are equal before law and are entitled to equal protection of law.

27. Safeguard against discrimination in services.
(1) No citizen otherwise qualified for appointment in the service of Pakistan shall be discriminated against in respect of any such appointment on the ground only of race, religion, caste, sex, residence or place of birth:

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights By United Nations

Article 1.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Article 5.

No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

Article 7.

All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.

Article 21.

(1) Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives.
(2) Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country.

Article 23.

(1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.

I demand for justice. I demand for equal rights. I demand for general age relaxation up to the age of 35 years for all, no discrimination please.

I demand for Same policy for everyone e.g. for government servants, unemployed youth and for the employees of corporate institutions like wapda, banks and universities etc. Moreover the government of Sindh take necessary actions to advertise CCE annually, and after three consequent CCE advertisements in coming three years, government may reduce the age upto 30 years. It is justifiable, i think so. I mentioned 35 years limit as government of Sindh already granted this upper age limit to government servants.

Dear,
It is confirmed that Chairman SPSC has created this drama and the chaos among the youth of decreasing the age relaxation.

Otherwise, everything was all right and CM SINDH was about to restore the 15 year age relaxation for one more year up 30th June 2014.

Moreover, many friends are of the view here on forum that 3 years age relaxation is sufficient. I want to ask that;
(1) Is unemployment over in Sindh?
(2) Is the quality/standard of education upto mark in Sindh?
(2) Are our boards and universities conducting examinations in transparent manners?
By the age of 30 to 35 our youth get mature and become on their own through self study and hard work. Majority of them try for CSS without proper preparation and support amid above-said situations.
SPSC is only platform which recruits jobs on merit otherwise departments are practising nepotism and favoritism. I request my friends to read local dailies of Sindh that how many of the talented and helpless youth are committing suicide everyday due to joblessnes.
Don't think of yourself only friends. What we demand from authorities is chance in the guise of age relaxation upot 10 to 15 years to sit in the COMPETITIVE EXAM not the post/vacancy....
Still my friends there are many who are jobless but have not surrender to hope. But friends such type of atrocities by the Govt and Authorities are discouraging. I salute those friends who have not lost their hope for CCE 2013 and are demanding their right.
Therefore, I request rank and file of this forum to realise the truth and raise the voice for at least 10 years of age relaxation for the youth of Province of Sindh.

Today, on 29/07/2013, CM SINDH Syed Qaim Ali Shah was in Sukkur & Khairpur. He was reported for the demand of youth upto 10 years of age relaxation. Further, MNAs and MPAs have also demanded the same from CM for the CCE 2013. Let's hope and pray and take some practical stepst to materialise it into reality.
Our demand should be to restore 15 years general age relaxation notification for one more year i.e upto 30/06/2014................. Because neither unemployment is over nor it is decreased.

Default Today dawn's letter

"Well done, SPSC: another view

THIS is apropos of Mr Imran Khan`s letter `Well done, SPSC` (July 21). Very true, the plea taken by the writer is justifiable for those who believe that 28 and below should be the maximum age for such examinations.

But we shouldn`t forget a majority of the people who are badly affected by this policy, especially those who waited for the last four years for the said advertisement.

Age relaxation is a serious issue which has been made a mockery of these days. It must be kept in mind that the age relaxation is claimed by people who are more than 35, as it has been through the previous SPSC advertisements when the unjust decision of 28 being the maximum age limit was made.

It should be kept in mind that students get their degrees by the time they are 22 to24. Due to lack of counselling, another couple of years slip away wandering in search of jobs whereas the SPSC announces its Combined Competitive Examinations (CCE) after four years.

Youths, as pointed out by the gentleman, are on the verge of 28 when they see these advertisements. There may be a smaller number of people who get the benefit of these advertisements but a majority of the youth, who kept looking for an annual examinations` announcement, are the deprived ones and frustration attends them every moment.

The writer is mistaken again in thinking that people only up to 28 are unemployed.

There is a considerable number of youth beyond 28 who remain unemployed. I don`t know why the writer is scared of these unemployed youth. As the examination`stitle itself suggests that it is based on the competitiveness of candidates, so nobody should forget that only competent persons regardless of their age will get through. The previous government issued a notification for a general age relaxation because it well knew about the unemployment ratio of the youth. Since the opportunities to meet this challenge were meager, the government provided relief to its people. I am still optimistic about the government issuing another notification soon.

Besides, comparing the SPSC with the FPSC is a little unfair. The FPSC has earned an unfaltering repute by adhering to its strict merit policy. That is why people have great regard for the FPSC, whereas the SPSC`s involvement in corruption scandalsis an open secret;forinstance, the combined examinations of 2003-4 whosecase is still pending in the Sindh High Court.

It is again stated that the upper age limit which was 35 previously must be retained, as the age relaxation issue only appeared after this.
