Wrong subject mentioned in cce mark sheet

Hi,
I just received my marksheet of CCE 2013. The subject I was shown failed in was not the one I'd opted as my optional. What should I do now? Spsc won't respond to emails. Please suggest!

Post it here? Sorry I can't since it has my personal info. I had opted Indian History but in my dmc it's mentioned Islamic History. They made the same error in the very first list having optionals, after I informed them and made several calls at spsc they corrected it. But dmc is a different thing, how could they post marks against a subject which was not even chosen in the first place.

P.S has anyone ever gotten lucky with recounting??

How did they correct it?? Had you get any confirmation after amendment? or Did you give application in writing for amendment?
I think you must immediately visit head office of SPSC and meet with controller exam and argue your case. you shall also be in possession of some documentary evidence to prove your point as it is very likely that they will try to negate whatever you are saying.

If you have exam slip and it has right subjects written on it then you have a case to be heared.

Or they will simply tell you that it was a typo and that these are your marks in your said optional. However, you should give it a try and go ahead with your Exam slip and DMC as a proof that you have been failed in a wrong subject.

I wrote two letters to SPSC Hyderabad.I find them more responsive in dealing with postal correspondence (old school, eh?) as compared to a call, etc. which they rarely pick up in my case.
I wrote one letter to inform them about a mistake in my mark sheet and other for re-totaling in the same subject. You have to do it within the day-limit told by SPSC. after a couple of weeks I received the letter from them saying 'Your request has been considered by SPSC and the marks of Indian History(my actual subject)have been re-totaled and no mistake has been found."
