To me To expect the merit from this department is like building castles in air.

All the meritorious candidates for Govt. Jobs hav already shifted their focus on FPSC.

Finally local govt deptt sindh has readvertised same posts of chief municipal officer, town officer, asstt executive engr and other posts in today (26-2-2012) jang newspaper.
It is said in ad that again send applications with documents to secretary local govt sindh before 8 march 2012 and tests will be conducted at districts mentioned in that ad at 11 march 2012 at 10 A.M. morning.
Sindh high court judges pleased both the parties petitioners and govt deptt announcing desician in favour of both parties.

Do you know that what"s the test pattern of these jobs ?Now for this time recruitment process will be fair or not?other wise it"s useless to apply where political corruption exits....

ive been a silent visitor and observer of this website since quite a time,
i want help from experts over here,
-Is the intake of the candidates being conducted thru sindh public service commission? or thru the department itself as in people who have not given commission papers
-what is the pattern of the test stated in the ad?

guys am planning to apply for this job, want to knw abt it !

brother u should apply for this add and send documents to secretary local govt deptt sindh before 8 march and test will be conducted on 11 march at ur respective district, address mentioned in ad published on previous sunday dawn.
it is not mentioned about pattern of test in ad.
i think test will be of mcq type and u should study mcqs book of general knowledge, current affairs of jahangir book depot or carvan or dogars...
some mcqs may be related to municipal system or functions of municipal officers for posts of cmo and tmo while for posts of engineering prepare from ur engineering mcqs book and for doctors from their background and for accountants from accounting.
it is my guess.....

so you all think that this time if test is taken from sindh local goverment will be fair and seats will not be distributed on political and money spending basis then i shall say totally wrong.

ad date of applying 2 weeks . after 3 days test conducted.

interviews will be within 2 weeks i guess not sure.
such quick process never happened in pakistan. seats are sold.
can you expect goodness from this government.

this time if you want to get your job on merit basis
follow my rules.

take the full information of your test marks

in interviews note down how many questions asked and your answers that will be correctly answered and ask interviewers about their names.

if they ask only names address and phone number in interview then don't rely on job because jobs are sold.

Yaar im from thatta and my domicile is of thatta but i dont know the test place can any 1 tell me about the test place :S
