no it doesnt make any sense...but they are simply implying old policy i think...n reson ye hai k result kharaab aya hai thats y female candidates ko marks die ja rhe hen...funny...merit z merit....though m also a female candidate but this act is just like the death of merit for mixed quota...as male candidates who hav secured 60's n 70's will not get these seats...

@ Sir Ali Mallah.
Dear sir would you please clarify this ambiguity that only female candidates who secured 60 marks will be awarded 20 extra marks. Here 60 means only 60 securing or 60 plus whatever stands till 99. Please sir help clear the prob.
Thanks.

Red face

what a merit.... ! they are just targeting mix quota where male and females are in competition.. suppose if one have got 79 marks then the girl who got only 60 marks will be given preference just because she is girl... wOw.. amazing na...

How will be 20 marks given ?? They'll just write +20 marks infront of female candidates result and its done.

Dear its better to wait for the complete policy, I have tried to get a copy of recruitment policy 2012 but its not available at many district offices of education department.

Result kharab ya sahe ka chakar nahe he, Its only to balance the ratio of male/female teachers because world bank/donors know that here female litercy rate is very low, they donot have enough opportunities for quality education hence they have deliberately adopted a policy of giving 20 marks to female candidates to give them more chance of employment. But I hope this will not have any major affect, the reason to support this is, there are many UCs where females have not passed in these cases these mixed seats will be given to male candidates. So in the end the ratio will be balanced.
