Default Lecturer Interviews, how tough can they be?

AoA,

I am wondering... those who have passed the interviews of Lecturer-ships (grats). I wanna know from them how much I should RATTA and memorize all my subjects, coz time is short and its getting on me nerves, lol. i am sick i got fever from stuuupid influenza.

Real question is: do they also ask to present a little lecture / presentation in interviews too ?. so i should prepare already for one.

i know it would depend on different committees and different people would prefer different things i guess.

Thanks.

They will not ask you to deliever a lecture infront of the pannel....You should first prepare your masters syallabus. They will just ask your subject related +general knowledge questions.

At SPSC most of the times they ask for demonstration of 3-4 minutes. Sometimes they give topic on their own and sometimes they leave all this on candidate. It depends upon the nature and wih of the subjects specialist whether he wants to take Demo or not and from which part of the subjects he like to have. To be in safer side you need to prepare 2,3 topics from your subjects so that you may be able to deliver short lecture over there.

Mostly committee fro lecturership will comprise of three members (sometimes only two), out of which 1 member will be subject specialist. Specialist will only ask questions related to your subject, these may be token as well as conceptual. If the level of qualifiers is high then questioning becomes tough sometimes. Then the one or two members of the SPSC will only ask questions related to General Knowledge, Islamiat, Pakistan Affairs, History of sindh, Every day science, current affairs etc. Wish you best of luck.
