Dear Shaikhu i have experience working with CSPs, PCS and EX-PCS officers of Sindh, as camparing with a CSP there is very slow promotions for PCS officers, but talking about perks and previliges for ACs recruited by SPSC and FPSC they are mostly same except promotions and trainings. In my views as my boss is an originally an Assistant Commissioner of grade 17 but the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner-II is grade 17 solely in my district so he is working as ADC-II with a gunman and facility of residence too, probably most ACs, ADCs are given vehicles because they have to go for revenue field works and meetings with higher officers. Since perks for Section officers there is no any kind of vehicle facility except with the approval or wish of head of department (e.g Secretary of Deptt or the competent authority and there is rarely some PSOs and Section Officers very close to Secretariat heads having facility of Vehicles and gunmen.

The difference is simple Executive PCS (Ex-PCS) which commission took only for recruitment of Mukhtiarkars, Ex-PCS Exam contains only English and Gen. Knowledge papers along with Revenue qualifying Exam papers but recently SPSC announced these Mukhtiarkar posts along with advertisemnet of ACs, SOs. PCS officers are direct recruited in grade 17 in any GoS department i.e A.Cs, SOs, Planning Officers, and ETOs etc.

Dear i don't know in details about faciliteis provided to Section Officers but i only shared my experience as working in Deputy Commissioner's office, but till now i even not seen or hear that any Section Officer became Chief Secretary, i think SOs are a 17 grade's clerk working very hard with lack / meager promotions and facilites, SOs usualy becomes Deputy Secretary and Additional Secretary so far after very long services in some cases may be it happened. Likewise ETO and AD Labour gets usual allowances as per government servants may be they would getting e&t or field based allowances etc and they also are field based jobs and both supervised by the regional directors of their deptt's in Sindh, and there are many projects for accommodations for officers of Sindh government not specificaly for any deptt.
