Im doing my mba and im in last semester. Can i apply ?
No you can not apply for this job because of two reasons.
First its deadline was 18th of this month, second you haven't done MA in Social Work/Sociology.

I have also applied for DDO social welfare. But whenever I check the status of my application by loging in my account in spsc's site, I read (UNDER INITIAL PROCESS) are you people experiencing same or I've flawed somewhere while submitting application. please repond. If it is my mistake i'd contact spsc.

SPSC have three tier application process. Let me explain it to both of you in detail:
1. You will be assign, “Under Initial Process”, before your written examination.
2. “Application under Process”, after successful completion of written exam and before interview.
3. “Close” is the third and last status, which states that the whole process have finished now i.e. completion of interview process and seat allocation to successful candidates.

So, don’t worry both of you have successfully submitted your application on time. There will be no SMS confirmation for this initial exercise, so don’t wait for that.

Agreed. All I know is that if they cancel interview date, only then they sent SMS or sometimes make calls to candidates, not in case of application submission. But anyway that's news for me. Best of luck to both of you.

To an extent, yes it is lucrative but if your motive is to just make money than it’s horrible to guide you for the said job.

Neither I am asking for black money! Well can you then define the meaning your word '' lucrattive'' how lucrative it is? They they give house? Vehicle? Sanctioning authority?

Brother you have to revise main concepts of your Master’s degree (Sociology or Social Work). Most probably your paper will be based on MCQs with major concepts of your degree program (75%) plus a general knowledge portion of remaining 25%.

Don’t expect things like house or vehicle. There will be “plain vanilla” salary of BS-17 grade and if you are “smart enough” only then you can make some money but obviously that will be haram ki aamdani.

Salary is same as other gazetted officers. Vehicle and house facilities are availed by DDO (Social Walfare).Furthermore, It has active public exposure.

one should contact spsc regarding syllabus.duration is 3 hours strange...

R channa Thursday, May 21, 2015 11:10 AM

Ddo/swo subjective paper

I contacted spsc office today. They told me that paper will be subjective.Syllabus details are written on admit slips.Slips will be despatched soon.

Bozdar Iqbal Thursday, May 21, 2015 12:35 PM

The officials attending calls in spsc do not give authentic information.According to my understanding paper will be mcq, because how it will be possible for spsc to assess subjective paper of such large number of candidates because the time duration of almost all posts is 03 hours.
Anyway we should wait to receive call letters.
