100% agree with you. Test was out of box and out of context even out of rule and unconstitutional too. But, we are not demanding to direct appoint, at least they should set passing marks 40 percent, CCE is not at higher standard than CSS, Jab CSS jesa exam me 40 percent passing rakhagya he to PCS me 50 passing q? Screening test for CCE-2013 was very much technical. I agree it was a little tough and it had some mistakes in questions and even in answer keys (which would be re-corrected soon). All of that the test was right, whoever was competent, got successful. Saying anything against SPSC is misleading the candidates.

bro are you sure that there are nine mistakes in paper type D? initially i got 44 but after recounting my score is 46.

I think there will be 1200 to 1800 candidates (but not in any way more than 3000) who have passed the examination and will be eligible to appear in exam.

as per standard, how many candidates spsc should allow to appear in written exam?

I have heard that at least they have to give written test of 6000 candidates.

Some thing is better than Nothing

Previously, SPSC could not arrange examination process of more than 24000 candidates, so it wanted to bring down the figure. It set out such a ruthless test that it sorted out 23000 candidates(24500-1500. I guess 1500 might have passed in screening test) in first step. FPSC applies this formula in written part but SPSC has applied it in the screening test. In 2012, almost 12000 appeared in written part of CSS and only 800 cleared written part(6.67% passing ratio). And in the screening test 1500 out of 24500(6.12). Written part is the main source to judge qualities of a candidate but SPSC selected MCQs part to bring out crammers and lucky candidates. It is essay, precis writing and other written techniques which ensure right candidates are selected. Selection on basis of screening test will only do injustice.

If 1500 have passed at standard of 50%, it should be brought down to such a percentage so as to raise number of candidates to at least 5000/6000
