I'm also facing the same choice. ES is enticing because almost everyone of CE16 scored decently (some even scored ridiculously high) in it. GS, on the other hand, yielded average marks but its paper looked quite easy with a lot of room for putting in the general information. My bent for GS comes from my literature background where I have already learnt the basics of feminist theory.

ES' brilliant yield, I guess, is down to a more definite and scientific nature of the subject while GS involves a lot of theory and abstraction so there is a high chance of things going awry.

For me, it would come down to how much time I feel I have for the fifth subject. With ample time I would definitely go for ES and if I am running out of time GS should be a safe bet for me.
