i found this book (Pakistan Affairs by Syed Mohsin Raza) to be very handy as it has its format on Questions & Answers basis. The answers are very insightful and detailed. Following are the contents of the book:

Q.1: Write down in detail the evolution of Muslim society in the subcontinent?
Q.2: According to your view point, what were the main causes of decline of Mughal Empire?
