Please post your query in relevant section. Abide by the forum's rules.

For your question I suggest you to browse the beginer guide section of the forum. It will help alot but if unfortunately, that will not answer your query than you are more than welcome to raise your question.

As a suggestion, never ask for notes or handouts. You can always make your own notes by following the syllabus and material already shared here or available in the relevant books. This strategy shall take you a long way when it comes to the actual exams

Question As there is not much plenty of time left for CE-2018?

I was wondering that due to lack of time for the preparation, I was planning to start preparation by solving the past papers in descending orders each and every question for the past last 10 years.

Any suggestion regarding this idea. Comments will be appreciated.

Default Pakistan Affairs by Syed Mohsin Raza

i found this book (Pakistan Affairs by Syed Mohsin Raza) to be very handy as it has its format on Questions & Answers basis. The answers are very insightful and detailed. Following are the contents of the book:

Q.1: Write down in detail the evolution of Muslim society in the subcontinent?
Q.2: According to your view point, what were the main causes of decline of Mughal Empire?
Q.3: Write a comprehensive note on the chain of constitutional development in the Subcontinent that ended in 1947?
Q.4: The social, traditional, cultural and religious invasions alongwith imposed rules by the British caused the locals to fight the War of Independence, 1857. Discuss.
Q.5: The Muslim civilization was at its lowest ebb after the War of Independence. In this critical time, the Muslims were really struggling and it was impossible without the wisdom and farsightedness os Sir Syed Ahmed Khan that the Muslims regain the dignity and a respectable place in Subcontinent. Comment!
Q.6: Simla Delegation was a step towards the changing of whole political scenario in the Subcontinent. Do you agree with this statement? If yes, provide some suitable arguments from the history.
Q.7: Write a comprehensive note on the comparison of the services provided by both All Inida Muslim League and Indian National Congress
Q.8: Lucknow Pact can be categorized as a clear evidence of the inexperience of the Muslims as it brought many disadvantages for them in the later years but at the same time it was considered a huge success of Muslim League. Discuss.
Q.9: Khilafat Movement was an incident that proved vital in the history of the Subcontinent as it paved way for the Muslims to learn the art of making agitation against the government which they utilized in struggle for getting a separate homeland? Comment!
Q.10: Discuss in detail the influence of three Round Table Conferences in shaping the Congress' behaviour in politics in the coming years?
Q.11: The One Nation Theory and the Two-Nation Theory as claimed by Indian National Congress and All India Muslim League, respectively, were the basis of political scenes between 1940 and 1947. Discuss in detail in the light of the incidents which took place during this period.
Q.12: A newly-formed country with meager resources was confronted with gigantic problems. Discuss with the reference to Pakistan in 1947.
Q.13: Write a comprehensive note on judicial crisis in the recent years in Pakistan. Find out the genesis of this crisis from the history of Pakistan.
Q.14: What are the major causes of energy crisis in the country? Write some practical measures to ameliorate the situation.
Q. 15: Corruption is the root cause of many ills of Pakistan. Suggest some suitable steps to eradicate this evil from the country.
Q.16: What are the services of Allama Iqbal in the way of creation of Pakistan?
Q.18: Give us account of the life and services of Shah Waliullah. How did he save the Indian Muslims from political annihilation and religious degeneration?
Q.19: The Aligarh Movement was a pure educational venture but it had deep impact on Indian politics. Discuss.
Q.20: Critically analyze the election of 1937 and the suffering and grievances of the Muslims under the congress rule in the provinces (1937-1939). How much did it help in popularizing the idea of a separate Muslim state in India?
Q.21: Jinnah in his Presidential Address to the annual session of All India Muslim League in March 1940 said, "The problem in India is not of an inter-communal character, but manifestly of an international one, and it must be treated as such." Write note on the Two-Nation Theory and the Lahore Resolution of March 1940 in the light of this statement.

MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

1. Write note on the post 9/11 foreign policy of Pakistan. What role do you foresee for Pakistan in regional and global politics in the near future?

2. Discuss the Kashmir problem in its entirety; throwing light on its background and prospects of possible solutions to this core issue between India and Pakistan?

3. Write note on the Afghan War since 1979 and its impacts on Pakistan. How far the emergence of the "Non-State Actors" and Non-Traditional Security Threats in Pakistan can be attributed to the decades-long warfare in Afghanistan.

4. Write detailed note on civil-military relation in Pakistan?

5. What are the main Economic Challenges which Pakistan is facing in this decade?

6. What are the main determinants and features of Pakistan Foreign Policy after 9/11?
