Yes Indeed it is a scoring subject, provided one has good grip over the subject matter and comprehends the issues well.

I have heard that people do not get good subjects
I have a book of D. Mulla and it seems littles strange with some cases references, do you think it is enough for preparation?
|
Book by Mullah is one of best book available on the subject and is considered an authority on the subject.Just skip the cases try to get familiarized with the terminologies of the subject and the gist of classical law. Then you can reproduce it in your own words.

Secondly, How long does it take to prepare for the subject (in my case i do not have a lot of time with me for detailed prep)
|
It all depends on one's background.Candidates who have completed their LLb can even finish this subject in 1 week others may take even a month or two.
Basically it depends on your aptitude. If you like Law subjects i am sure you'd be able to finish it quickly.
