The margin of error in terms of GD(P) remains obvious, that one needs to be robust and physically fit to the highest standards. Medical test of the GD(P) is one of the toughest task which is often not met due to the standards they have maintained.
There are also many cases where a person unfit for GD(P), applying to other forces or even non GD(P) courses amply gets the desired post. So if you were declared unfit, does not mean that you cant apply to other forces on those very medical grounds. You did not mention the grounds raised by the Medical staff, as it could be consulted and sorted out with the medical practioner. But i still believe you have an ample oppurtunity and equally fit to join any other cadre you wish to join. The medical test of GD(P) is an exceptional case.
