It lies in the authority who appoints drivers, that is mostly the males and they don't trust in females abilities.
We like female drivers , and most of the women like to drive for themselves in our country if they are permitted.On the other hand, professional drivers unfortunately belong to the lower class where the females are restricted for such type of work due to illiteracy.
