Assalam-0-Alaikum,

To me, CSS is the only way to enter into the Superior Services of Pakistan by fair means. Entry into Civil Service does not mean that you will become head of executive, rather it would be a job to implement the will of the people through their representatives.

A question that I will serve the country and people - sounds well in theory but not in practice. Because Civil Servants are not too much empowered, they are chained by numerous factors. WE can call it a service to country as well as people, by abstaining from corruption, honesty to task and provision of quick relief to complainants.

I think on the ground civil service is not too much powerful as people think. If we revolt against the prevailing corrupt system then most probably one can't make a good career. Either to become a successful officer by adopting the current system or to be silent on such petty state and remain in dark corner till retirement.

Guess what I want to say
