Dear Doctor!!!
we should not restrict our answers to quotations and pages...paper is grander than all this (i believe it atleast)...
if i imagine myself in place of the person who is supposed to check my paper i try to write something that is grammatically and logically correct, the punctuation is taken care of....and yeah prolly one or two quotes...
the idea is not to impress the examiner with my knowledge....let us suppose 12,000 people appeared in 2010. i believe approximately 11999 people knew what services did Aibak, Ghori and Iltutmish render to the Delhi Sultanate....the test is not about the knowledge...the information possessed by the individuals is roughly the same...
so we should not tie our score to quotations alone....you may score well with simple english and structurally smooth flow of ideas rather than using many quotations but with no sense of time and place :P
