Well, i can say with confidence that our law enforcement agencies have failed ! Now it is upto us to keep them on our heads or look for another alternative.
It was amazing to read in the paper (Express August,31) that SHOs of police stations are calling "shurfa" of their areas to collect fund for instlation of security cameras in the police station. Now if you know a little bit of police culture,these shurfas are those people who runs gamling dens, brothels, herion sellers and other such traders. Why a law-abiding citizen will provide "funds" to police ?
And what these Shurfas will expect in return from Police ? Everybody knows ! I wonder our briliant PSP officer does not know all this while a person in street knows all this ?
So why not people will take matters in their own hand ? The farmers who lynched the robber in Mian Chuno said they previously handed over such robbers to the concerned police, but they were released
So it is the logical result that is happening and going to happen !
