Salam Very Special 1,

If 10 common transistor circuits are included ...they be categorized based on their behavior, It is fact that they are inter related, based on the three transistor modes….but depending on their usage….they can be classified accordingly.


1. Transistor in cut off Configuration
2. as current Amplifier….Darlington pair
3. As switching device.....in saturation mode
4. As signal inverter...
5. As non-linear device…..used in Radio Transmitter
6. As High input Impedance device….
7. As Voltage Amplifier…..Common Emitter Amplifier
8. As Gate voltage Controlled Device….JFETS and MOSFETS
9. As low output impedance Device
10. As signal comparator….

@ 10: It requires two transistors to be implemented….but it can be mentioned here since the question does not put any restriction on the number of transistors....
