It is unbecoming on the part of Provincial Service officers to act against the official code of conduct. They are fomenting provincialism to secure their own follies. Rai Nasir, the father of all agitators, should be ousted from the service for good. Provincial civil servants are infamous for their corruption & bias towards their federal counterparts and the current spate of their disturbance is an apt example of the parochial mindset. As far as their struggle against DMG is concerned, it is important to note that DMG forms the cream of Civil Service of Pakistan and its officers are selected through the Civil Services Examination which is conducted at the all Pakistan level. They are selected and then trained to serve at the highest echelons of administration whereas PMS was originally created (according to constitution PMS ACT 2004) to serve at the lower levels of provincial administration. So DMG & PMS are completely different occupational groups and it is totally unconstitutional, unrealistic and unethical for PMS Officers to protest against those officers who are constitutionally empowered to serve at higher administrative positions (DMGs).
It is also important to mention that almost all the legitimate demands of PMS are already met but still PMS officers are not happy.
