dear friend, "Exploring the world of English" is not enough.u must jot down all the idioms that hv appeared in past papers since 1971 till 2011 and find out their meanings in dictionary or Exploring.besides , do cram all the idioms of the Exploring book.also memorise the idioms being used in the Dawn newspaper on regular basis.this strategy wl suffice ur need.
do not consult books like the one recommended by FPSC, that is, by Mc Mordie as one of our friends suggested u above in the thread.that is a complete book of idioms u cannot cram it in ur whole life.it contains about more than 5000 idioms.and also nowadays it seems too have become outdated as it does not contain recently coined idioms.just try to cram useful idioms around 1000 to 1500.these are more than enough.
Thanx
