Because that is the only explanation left. The only relatives you can show compassion to are your own. Unless you belong to a particular sect.

You can read other translations besides Edip Yuksel, and analyze the grammar yourself. Translation is for understanding Quran, but tafseer can be used to distort a text towards sectarian teachings.
