Dear one think i must tell you that notes, must be in your own wording. the bookish words would not give you benefit of making notes. i read your first post that is Dar-ul-uloom-i-deoband. that is exactly the same think which was written in the book Pakistan Affairs by Ikram Rabbani, try to write your own words it will give you benefit. First read the topic in detail and then place the book in front of you but write all important aspects of that topic in your own words.
it is just my advice, others may vary..
