Difference between N.I and N.S

National interest aims at achieving certain goals,aims objectives etc

Natiaonal security aims at eliminating threats to a nation be it of any type i.e economic,military etc

How PAK equated N.I with N.S?




1.PAK had its interst in afghanistan(N.I)

2.india was considered a threat(N.S)

we gave birth to jihadi organisations to secure our interests in afghanistan and to keep a check on the threat form india(both on eastern and western borders) and in this way equated national interst with national security by deploying a single tool(jihadiz) to address both the issues.
