By virtue of its constitution , Pakistan like any other state is built on principle of trichotomy of power whereby Executive, Judiciary and Legislature serve under their constitutional domain . Functioning of all the institution is pre-requsite for socio-economic and political progress of the state. This model has driven the growth of emerging economies such as India, Brazil, South Korea. The maxim that only a leader can extricate the nation out of morass doesnt hold water in modern times. Now the wel established system is the only key to success.

Unfortunately this balance has always remained uneven in the history of Pakistan. People are kept in dark by distorting history and indoctrinating the myopic beliefs amongst the young generation.

Most of us believe that our army has no parallel amongst the world. India is our enemy. Our Politicians are solely responsible for current plight and they are the only corrupt lot, bla bla bla. until and unless this mindset is dispelled , we will keep moving in circle.

We are a security state where all the staratgic decsions are seen by the prism of security. It would not be wrong to say that army is being fed on the expense of poor people. If two decades ago, only 20 generals could command the army , why we need 184 now? Can this expense not be rationalised? Can departments that were previously headed by Colonel Level officer cant be managed by same rank officer now instead of General being appointed on such potsts.

Likewise, Judiciary should put its own house in order. Reform, Monitor and keep a check on the whole judicial system. It would be a great service to people.

Political parties have become fiefdoms. They must be established and function on democratic lines. This is the only path that lead to progress and prosperity. Every thing else is nothing short of a slogan and delusion.
