Moulvi is a title brother, that was used by muslim public for those among them who had a considerable knowlodege and insight of Islamic principles and teachings. This word held a reverence and respect in it. British were the first to use this word as a sign of disrespect and slowly, the innocent people of the subcontinent started using the word in the same sence.

Since you are talking about the preachers of hate (who, definitely are not ulema's), I believe you should not have used the word moulvi. Religious fanatic is a suitable word, but you know religious fanatics are in all the religions and they live around the globe. Hope you have studied about people like pope John Paul. Shiv Sena and Bajrang Dall are working in our immediate neighbour.

The question here (that still needs to be answered) is that how can we can maintain peace with India, without compromising our national interest.
